Collabocate is committed to maintaining a fair and transparent marketplace for both students and instructors. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be granted and how refund requests are reviewed.
1. General Policy
Our goal is to provide a positive learning experience while ensuring fairness for instructors and students alike.
Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are subject to the terms outlined in this Policy.
2. Eligible Refunds
Students may request a refund within fourteen (14) days of purchase if one or more of the following conditions apply:
- The course content cannot be reasonably accessed.
- Technical issues prevent the course from functioning properly.
- The course content materially differs from its description.
- Significant platform-related issues prevent course usage.
All refund requests must be submitted within the applicable refund period.
3. Non-Eligible Refunds
Refund requests may be denied in situations including, but not limited to:
- Most or all course content has already been completed.
- Evidence suggests misuse of course materials.
- Refund abuse is suspected.
- Fraudulent activity is detected.
- The request falls outside the refund eligibility period.
- The student has violated platform policies or terms of service.
4. Review Process
Each refund request is reviewed individually by the Collabocate support team.
When reviewing a request, factors may include:
- Course access history
- Course completion progress
- Technical issue verification
- Communication records
- Evidence provided by the student
Eligibility determinations are made at the sole discretion of Collabocate.
5. Chargebacks
Students are encouraged to contact Collabocate Support before initiating a chargeback through their payment provider.
Unauthorized or fraudulent chargebacks may result in:
- Account suspension
- Course access removal
- Permanent account termination
- Restriction of future purchases
6. Course Removal
If a course is removed due to policy violations, intellectual property concerns, or other platform-related issues, students may be eligible for a refund depending on the circumstances and the amount of course content accessed.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.
Processing times may vary depending on:
- Payment provider
- Banking institution
- Payment method used
- Geographic location
8. Policy Changes
Collabocate reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time.
Continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
